Bopal area in the city which saw the brutal murder of a MICA student in broad daylight a month ago, has now reported a brazen daylight robbery. On Thursday, at around 4 pm, three men wearing helmets and brandishing pistols barged into a jewellery showroom near Marigold in South Bopal and fled with gold and artificial silver jewellery worth approximately Rs 40 lakh. A statewide alert has been issued.
