NRI MURDERED, APP LEADS WIFE TO HIS BODY

Less than a week after the murder of a MICA student, the city woke up on Friday morning to another high-profile killing—this time, it was a retired non-resident Indian who had returned to the city just two and a half months ago. The severely injured and blood-covered body of 65-year-old Deepak Dashrath Patel was found near Akalpya Farm on the Garodia-Manipur road in Bopal area, not very far off from the place where the MICA student was stabbed. What makes this case different and interesting is the fact that the body was tracked down not by the police but by the deceased's wife, that too using a device-tracking mobile application.
