Rajkot may soon have direct flights to Dubai

The under-construction terminal at Hirasar airport is expected to be ready by September, paving the way for launch of int’! flights

If all goes well with the ongoing work at the Rajkot International Airport in Hirasar, there may soon be direct flights from Rajkot to Dubai by November this year.

The airport currently handles only domestic flights. Currently, there are nine to 12 domestic flights every day from the airport. This number too is expected to increase to 16 in the winter schedule.

The plans for international flights had been on hold in absence of an exclusive terminal at the airport.
