A swift demolition operation near the Somnath temple at Prabhas Patan in Gir Somnath district has landed in the Gujarat High Court. One of the affected trusts, the Auliya-E-Deen Committee, is contesting the demolition, claiming it was an illegal act by government authorities. The case was presented before Justice Sangita Vishen on Monday and has been scheduled for further hearing on Tuesday.
