Valuations may offset Divi's growth outlook
Business Standard|May 28, 2024
Divi's Laboratories, the country's second-largest pharma company by market capitalisation, saw its stock rise 5.7 per cent to a two-year high of 4,359 on the BSE in Monday's intraday trade.
Valuations may offset Divi's growth outlook

This followed the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturer's strong earnings print in Q4FY24.

The pharma firm's stock ended the day with gains of 3.2 per cent at ₹4,222 a share.

While analysts said they were positive about the firm's performance and its FY25 commentary, they said the stock price might see some downsides amid rich valuation.

The March quarter of FY24 saw the company's net profit rise 67 per cent to ₹538 crore compared to ₹321 crore in the corresponding period last year. Its revenue grew 18 per cent to 2,303 crore.
