President Volodymyr Zelensky said a further 219 were wounded in the city of Potlava in one of the deadliest attacks since the war began.

At least 18 were left trapped beneath the rubble after the strike on the Institute of Communications and a desperate search for survivors was under way last night.

Potlava regional leader Philip Pronin immediately announced a three-day period of mourning.

It is understood the strikes came during a line-up at the military unit known as A3990.

Cancer doesn't just take a physical toll so care must evolve

The elderly man was exclaiming angrily, as his daughter pushed his wheelchair towards the admittedly overpriced hospital coffee shop: \"Why should I want a sandwich?\" After explaining that he clearly needed to keep his strength up by eating, they settled on a slice of cake instead. This minor family drama about a couple of slices of bread was, in some ways, an amusing vignette of life and I think of them often.
