Angela raver! Deputy PM parties in Ibiza as Labour faces backlash over smoking ban plan

ANGELA Rayner raved in Ibiza as the Government faced widespread fury back home over its proposed smoking ban.

Footage emerged of the Deputy Prime Minister on the Spanish holiday island dancing in front of thousands of people.

Ms Rayner, 44, relaxed as the DJ blasted out a dance remix of Gotye's hit song Somebody That I Used to Know.

As the nightclub lit up with flashing lights, she was seen jumping up and down in time with the music.

DJ Fisher, whose real name is Paul Fisher, put his headphones round the neck of the Labour minister as he laughed and hugged her.

Ms Rayner has spoken of her love for clubbing before, telling a newspaper she had danced from four in the afternoon until five in the morning while on holiday in Spain last year. In an interview at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last August, Ms Rayner said: "The girls I was raving with are half my age, and I was like, 'I'm a grandma'.
