BRITISH black comedy Baby Reindeer took the Emmy Awards by storm, bagging four trophies in Los Angeles.
Richard Gadd, 35, the show's creator and star, won three of the gongs on Sunday night, for acting, writing and as executive producer.
Hugely popular but also highly contentious, the Netflix TV hit, which also stars Nava Mau, 32, tells the story of a female stalker and her sexually dysfunctional victim.
Richard's co-star Jessica Gunning, 38, who played stalker Martha, was named best supporting actress in a limited series.
Accepting her award, she told the audience: "Oh my goodness me, blinking heckers.
"I honestly feel like I'm going to wake up any minute now and this whole thing has been a dream." Scottish comedian Richard, who wore a kilt for the big night, told the audience: "Ten years ago, I was down and out. I never ever thought I'd get my life together. I never ever thought I'd be able to rectify myself for what happened to me and get myself back on my feet again.
"And then here I am, just over a decade later, picking up one of the biggest writing awards in television.
