ERIK AVOIDS AN EPIC FAIL

ERIK TEN HAG lives to fight another day after edging one of the most spellbinding FA Cup semi-finals of all time.

After more than two hours' frenetic action, Manchester United needed a penalty shootout and emotions in that veered from one extreme to the other as Mark Robins's Coventry conjured a comeback from nowhere to put the frighteners on the Dutchman.

Three goals up with 20 minutes to go, the Premier League giants were cantering to the finishing line.
