Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds said the Government secured legally binding commitments with Mr Kretinsky's EP Group over the more than 500-yearold postal service.
They include protecting the universal delivery promise - which Royal Mail has previously called unviable and keeping the service based in the UK.
