PRINCE William told well-wishers that the end of Kate's chemotherapy treatment for cancer was "good news", but added she still has "a long way to go".
The Prince of Wales spoke as he appeared in public yesterday, for the first time since his wife shared a deeply personal video and message about her health and future.
William, 42, was making a solo trip to Llanelli, South Wales, where a 10-year-old girl melted his heart by giving him a big hug when he visited her school.
Royal fans gathered outside Swiss Valley Community Primary School and offered the Prince their best wishes to Kate, 42 with some handing him cards for the Princess.
William told Pauline Thomas, 74: "It's good news but there is still a long way to go."
In her video, Kate revealed she had completed her chemo course and was focusing on doing what she can to stay cancer-free with a "renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life".
