The recently knighted 69-year-old has campaigned for years with his partner Suzanne Sercombe to expose the truth about the Post Office's faulty Horizon IT system and get justice for the people whose lives it destroyed.
And next week Coventry University will award him an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws, at a ceremony recognising the work of the campaign group he founded, the Justice for Subpostmasters Alliance.
