Julie Sweeney, 53, was one of a number of people appearing in court following rioting across the country sparked by misinformation about the killings of three girls in Southport.
At Chester Crown Court, Sweeney, 53, admitted posting the message from her home in Church Lawton, Cheshire, on August 3.
After she was arrested she said: "I'm not being rude but there are a lot of people saying it." Sweeney now admits posting the comment "in anger", insisting she had "no intention to put people in fear".
Sentencing, Judge Steven Everett said: "So-called keyboard warriors like her have to learn to take responsibility for their language."
Her jailing came as those held for allegedly being involved in the mayhem reached 1,024 with 575 charged. One judge said the leaders should face rioting charges with a 10-year sentence.
