BOXING superstar Tyson Fury blamed the war in Ukraine yesterday after suffering his first ever defeat in the biggest fight of his career.

Fury, 35, claimed judges handed Oleksandr Usyk the historic victory on a split decision - out of sympathy over the plight of his country.

The defiant "Gypsy King" boxer insisted he has no intentions of throwing in the towel and is already setting his sights on a £100million rematch this year.

Branding his defeat as "one of the daftest decisions in boxing" he added defiantly: "I'll be back."
