Neighbours’ shock after police discover bodies of twin babies

Two men, aged 37 and 47, and a 29-year-old woman were under arrest on suspicion of concealing the birth of a child. Police were granted a 36-hour extension to their detention yesterday.

The infants, thought to be twins, were found at an end-of-terrace home on Saturday evening.

Detectives are awaiting the results of post-mortems, which took place yesterday, and other forensic tests.

Investigators continued to search the house in Wildmill, Bridgend.
