His owner Janice Cheetham, an emergency medical technician who was at the scene of the 2017 terrorist attack that claimed 22 lives, said: "I honestly don't know whether I'd be here today without Marmaduke."
Janice, 64, would lie in bed with the sirens and screams from the night replaying in her head.
"I was spiralling," she said.
"Then I visited the local animal rescue shelter just for a look.
