Reform could sue over Kemi's 'disgusting' fake membership claims

Nigel Farage warned he would not back down in the row with the Tory leader and demanded that she apologise for her "disgraceful" allegations.

He previously challenged Mrs Badenoch to have both Reform and Tory membership figures checked by one of the Big Four accounting firms.

Reform said its party, which has five MPs, now had 140,000 members paying the £25 fee to join - higher than the last known Tory total of 131,680.

Accusations

Last night, the Reform leader said his party had "opened up our systems" to the media "in the interests of full transparency to verify that our data is correct".

He added: "The accusations of fraud and dishonesty made against me were disgraceful.
