The King's christening

A COLLECTOR was amazed to discover he had bought rare footage of King Charles's christening at a thrift shop in South Carolina.

Ronald Baxter Jr, 59, was intrigued when he spotted a mysterious unmarked brown envelope on sale for just £6.20 in the store.

Curious to know what was inside, he purchased the package and opened it at home.

To his amazement, he discovered a film from the King's christening, which took place on December 15, 1948.

The footage shows crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace waiting to get a glimpse of the baby Prince Charles.
