TINY robots injected into a rabbit have been used to shut down a bleed on its brain in what scientists hailed as "opening new frontiers in medicine".
They built the nanoscale bots measuring a twentieth the size of a red blood cell and put them to work in the lab on bunnies and models.
Several hundred billion bots were deployed to tackle brain bleeds caused by aneurysms, or bulges in blood vessels that can rupture.
