JAMES Corden and Ruth Jones have revealed that the last ever Gavin and Stacey episode is in the works - meaning fans will finally learn whether their characters end up together.
The sitcom will finish on Christmas Day, five years after Ruth's character Nessa went down on one knee to propose to James's alter-ego Smithy - and the credits rolled before he answered.
