6TH NATIONS

France 21 England 42

JOHN MITCHELL hailed the way England dealt with the pressure as they won the Women's Six Nations for the sixth time in a row.

And the Red Roses completed a hat-trick of Grand Slams with a glorious victory over France in Bordeaux.

England led from the moment prop Maud Muir charged over in the fourth minute and they went on to score six tries, with No.8 Alex Matthews crossing twice in front of a 28,000 full house.

England's winning run in the tournament stands at 29 games, with their last defeat coming against France in 2018.
