First challenge to produce leader duo | They'll get lodge while others slum it

I'M a Celebrity will kick off with a huge challenge and a new-look camp as part of a series revamp.

Executive producer Olly Nash gave the Mirror a guided tour of the set that now has a Leaders' Lodge with beds, rocking chairs and shelter from the rain.

A pair of celebs will be joint camp chiefs after winning an opening competition, dubbed Snakes and Leaders, which is a race to the finish line with the celebrities teamed up in pairs.

It is a major departure, as the show normally starts with a Walk The Plank-style opener atop a Gold Coast building.
