A&E WAITING TARGETS ARE MISSED AGAIN

BEREAVED families of failed patients have told of their anger that crucial A&E and ambulance targets are being missed.

NHS England data shows a target to get 76% of A&E patients seen in four hours by March was missed, dropping to 74.2%. The Tories had watered down the target from 95%.

The average ambulance response time for the most urgent calls was eight minutes and 20 seconds in March. That is five seconds faster than in February - but well above the target of seven minutes.
