TWO young pals have raced into the history books by smashing a world record on a motorbike and sidecar.
Jack Taylor, 11, and Alfie Barraclough, 10, hit 48mph over a 500m dash.
The daredevils, who have been riding since they were eight, used a customised drag racing bike with a sidecar.
Driver Jack said the pair felt "exhilarated" after breaking the land speed record.
He added: "I'm not just looking after myself but my passenger as well.
