Botched butt lift operation 'ruined my life' woman warns

A WOMAN left fighting for life in intensive care following a bungled Brazilian butt lift in Turkey is warning Brits not to travel abroad for cosmetic surgery as it "ruined her life."

Layla, 23, is featured in a Channel 4 documentary presented by investigative journalist Mary Mandefield. Mary focussed on a company called Unique Zone, an agency that matches patients with surgeries in Turkey. Layla - who does not wish to give her surname - paid £6,600 for a BBL, breast implants and liposuction in June 2023.

After her procedure, she spent a month in intensive care and needed six life-saving skin grafts when she returned to the UK because she was infected with the flesh-eating disease necrosis.
