IT'S the role Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder was born to play, an "insane" drug dealer.
The Mancunian, known for hollering "call the cops!" and "you're twisting my melon, man!" in the band's biggest hit, Step On, has been open about his drug-fuelled past.
He even boasted that he introduced ecstasy to the rave scene when the indie heroes broke through in the 1980s.
Now, in a case of art imitating life, he's going to be on the big screen in the untitled flick as a pusher.
