CATCH HIM IF YOU CAN

HARRY KANE has already written his name in the record books - and the next chapter he pens may never be beaten.

At 29, he could have another three major tournaments in an England career which has already confirmed his status as one of the all-time greats.

The Three Lions captain's penalty against Italy made him England's top-scorer, his 54 goals in 81 games eclipsing previous record holder Wayne Rooney.

Kane reached the landmark in 39 games fewer than Rooney, and has broken down barriers and landmarks almost with every goal.

What is remarkable is despite all that, Kane is arguably under-appreciated as a world-class striker.

He does not just score goals but is captain and leader, a clever and intelligent player on the pitch who links play, sprays passes and is versatile enough to adapt to different systems.

He has overcome injury, setbacks such as missing a penalty in the World Cup quarter-final against France and displayed unshakeable mental strength to carve out an extraordinary career.
