CHERYL Cole has told of her heartbreak over the death of former boyfriend Liam Payne.
The mum of the tragic pop star's son Bear, seven, said she was trying to work through her "own grief at this indescribably painful time".
Liam was reportedly keen "for a fresh start" with Cheryl before he died.
She described his death as an "earth-shattering event".
