Last words of Alfie, 15, before he was knifed in heart by 14-yr-old

A TEENAGE boy stabbed to death in front of primary school children pleaded with his attacker to "chill out" before he died, a jury heard.

Alfie Lewis, 15, was stabbed twice with a kitchen knife just moments after leaving school for the day.

The court heard how Alfie asked his 14-year-old attacker "what are you doing?" as the teen plunged a 13cm blade into his chest and leg. A postmortem examination revealed the fatal injury was a 14cm-deep wound to Alfie's chest which punctured his heart.

The prosecutor, Craig Hassall KC, told the jury the accused had stabbed Alfie on November 7, then gone straight home, dropping the knife - which had a black painted handle - on the way.
