How fly-tipping hits trains

FLY-TIPPING is causing chaos on railways and roads, delaying services while also ruining animals’ habitats.

The most commonly dumped items include white goods, mattresses and electrical items.

Over the past four years, Network Rail has received nearly 4,000 reports of fly-tipping on railway lines from members of the public.
