Games are running out with Blades 10 points from safety but Wilder refuses to throw in the towel

CHRIS WILDER is refusing to accept his Sheffield United side are doomed.

The Blades were widely written off after Saturday's 5-0 home defeat by Aston Villa.

But Wilder has since challenged his players to gives fans some hope by winning at Luton tomorrow. Hatters are only one place above the drop zone yet are 10 points ahead of rockbottom Blades.

But Wilder said: "I've never given up hope and I never will. And even if the league table tells us we're done and dusted, then there's always something to play for.
