JOE Biden has urged Israel not to go in all guns blazing as he pledged US support in the escalating conflict.
The US President said justice must be done but warned the Israelis not to be consumed by their anger over the Hamas murder spree on October 7.
On a visit to Israel, he urged its leaders not to make the same mistakes the US did after the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001.
And as America's military was poised for an escalation of the Israel-Palestine conflict, Mr Biden warned any of Hamas' allies thinking of becoming involved: "Don't. Don't. Don't."
The President also managed to broker a deal for humanitarian aid to get into Gaza.
He was in Israel as more details of the al-Ahli Hospital explosion emerged.
Harrowing images show children who were maimed. Over 470 people were killed by the blast in Gaza on Tuesday.
PROTESTS
The Pentagon provided intelligence to Mr Biden that the rocket that destroyed the infirmary was fired by Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Hamas called the assessment "outrageous lies".
The Israel Defense Forces has released an audio recording of what it claimed were two Islamic Jihad terrorists admitting responsibility for the hospital blast.
An Israeli TV station showed footage which appeared to be of a rocket fired from Gaza malfunctioning mid-air moments before the explosion.
Mr Biden told Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "Based on what I've seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you."
The blast sparked protests throughout the Middle East.
Mr Biden stressed he was unafraid to involve his military.
