A GIRL aged 12 has appeared in court charged with killing a pensioner who was attacked just 30 seconds from his home.
Bhim Kohli, 80, was walking his dog when he was assaulted in September and died in hospital the following evening.
A 15-year-old boy was charged with Mr Kohli's murder three days after his death. He will appear at court this week ahead of a trial, which is due to start in February.
Police yesterday confirmed a girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been charged with manslaughter.
