Home is where the heat is as Toon Army urged to rekindle spirit of famous night against PSG in must-win clash at St James' Park

THE Wor Flags fans group has promised one of its most spectacular displays yet when battle-worn Newcastle face AC Milan tomorrow night.

And the Toon Army have been urged to crank up the volume for the do-or-die Champions League clash.

The Magpies 12th man will be needed like never before in a game Eddie Howe's side have to win to make the knockout stages in the new year.

Newcastle's form at their St James' Park cauldron is in stark contrast to their troubles on the road, cruelly demonstrated in Sunday's 4-1 rout at the hands of a rampant Tottenham.

But boss Howe knows his side is a different beast on home soil with a raucous crowd behind them.

"Our home form is the bedrock of what we've been doing," he admitted - and the stats dramatically back up his claim.

In the Premier League they have seven home wins to their name from eight games, the only defeat was against table-toppers Liverpool back in August.
