ERIK TEN HAG has warned senior Manchester United stars they must reach the standard set by young rising midfielder Hannibal Mejbri.
United's back-to-back wins, after three straight defeats, coincided with 20-year-old Hannibal's promotion to the starting line-up.
In last Saturday's 1-0 win at Burnley, the Tunisia star ran 12.9km, more than any other United player this season, bringing some much-needed energy and industry.
It was a similar story in United's 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace in midweek, with Hannibal again playing the full 901 minutes and showing relentless commitment and desire.
