GIANFRANCO ZOLA has claimed Cole Palmer shares his footballing vision as he backed the England star to be a future Ballon d'Or winner.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca compared 22-year-old Palmer to the Blues legend after his man-of-the-match display in the win over Newcastle.
Zola, who was voted the club's greatest ever player by Chelsea fans, was at Stamford Bridge to see the former Manchester City star net his seventh goal of the campaign.
Palmer scored four goals to beat Brighton on his own last month.
