MATT Hancock sparked fury among grieving relatives of Covid victims denied proper care in the pandemic, after he claimed the NHS was never overwhelmed by the virus.
Families booed the disgraced former Health Secretary as he arrived at the Covid-19 Inquiry in London yesterday, and shouted "Liar!" as he left.
Mr Hancock insisted the NHS coped with the pressure as it was swamped by victims, after being shown evidence patients were denied lifesaving care.
