The mum-of-seven chose to lie to her husband of 15 years about the death of their unborn eighth baby as he was in Saudi Arabia preparing for a crucial world heavyweight clash.
But now, she hopes sharing her traumatic experience can help break the taboo surrounding miscarriages.
Paris was devastated to be told the unborn tot had no heartbeat when she went for a routine gender scan.
Recalling that dreadful night in May, the 35-year-old says she felt hiding the truth from Tyson was her only option as she struggled to come to terms with the fact she had to give birth to a lifeless child.
She said: "I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn't change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life."
FRANTIC
Knowing he was expecting her to join him ringside in Riyadh, she said: "I made up a lie that I had high blood pressure. It was the only thing I could think of that would stop me from flying without having to give him the terrible news.
"I was alone at the time. Tyson was in Saudi Arabia in the training camp, I'd had my 12-week scan, and everything was well, so I'd just popped in for a gender scan. Obviously, having had multiple pregnancies, I just got a friend to watch the kids and I thought I'd come down and find out what it is, and then I could tell Tyson when I went over to join him in Saudi."
As she sat on the bed for her scan, Paris told how she waited to see the flutter of a tiny heartbeat on the ultrasound screen.
