KAMALA Harris has left rival Donald Trump seething after surging in the polls three months ahead of the presidential election.
Nearly half of US adults 48% have a very or somewhat favourable view of the Vice President.
Her polling is 11 points higher than at the beginning of the summer before Joe Biden dropped out.
It is also bigger than President Biden's favourability rating of 38% when he was candidate. Her popularity sparked excitement within her party as she arrived at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago yesterday.
