ROB BURROW has hailed best pal Kevin Sinfield as a "special kind of person" for raising £13million for motor neurone disease charities.
The rugby league legend, who has MND, said he has an unbreakable bond with his former team-mate and if their roles were reversed, he would do the same.
In a touching scene in May, Kevin carried Rob over the finish line of the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.
And since Rob was given two years to live in 2019, England rugby union coach Kevin has taken on a series of gruelling money-raising challenges.
Rob, 41, said: "Our friendship continues to inspire us both.
"It makes us braver and stronger. The deep bond we have now is unbreakable and knowing we have each other is one of the biggest comforts there is.
