THE body of missing rugby league star Bryn Hargreaves has been found in woods near his home in the US.
The ex-St Helens, Wigan and Bradford forward vanished on January 3 last year.
Police tracker dogs, specialist teams and firefighters launched a search near his home in Whisper Creek, West Virginia.
His family grew frustrated when "no progress" was made and set up an online appeal to hire a private investigator.
Last month, human remains were found in the same area, outside the Morgantown city limits.
