Head newly shaven and a physique of toned muscle, Robin Hood heartthrob Jonas Armstrong looks like trouble.
And his record bears this out: a series of drunken incidents and run-ins with the law. There was a time when it looked like he was going to derail hist career for good.
Now, thankfully, the only bad behaviour you'll see from him nowadays is purely on screen.
Jonas, 43, currently playing a badass criminal in Channel 5's Coma, reveals for the first time how he's taken steps to change his behaviour.
He admits: "I have been volatile in my past, I have made mistakes. So now that I'm an older, wiser man, I try to live my life in a different manner."
Addressing his past issues with drinking and wayward behaviour, Jonas reveals that he has taken steps to change.
"I'd be a liar if I said that I hadn't," he says. "Because I think it might have had an effect on my career.
"So obviously I have had to address that. I keep in with the right people and keep myself in check. I had to adjust things in my life.
change things in order to move forward, but I am in a good place now."
