RISHI Sunak's gripe about going without Sky TV as a child left him looking more out of touch than ever with the real hardships facing families.
As millions struggle to make ends meet after 14 years of Tory hell, the mega-rich PM's lack of a grasp on reality was exposed in an excruciating TV interview.
To make matters worse, this was the chat he shamefully ducked out of the D-Day commemorations early last week in France to attend.
And in a further insult to the Normandy heroes, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice, Mr Sunak declared the reason he scarpered home was because the 80th anniversary services simply went on too long.
He told ITV presenter Paul Brand: "It all just ran over. It was incredible, but it just ran over." Mr Sunak was grilled on whether he understands the struggles facing ordinary families battered by a cost of living crisis.
