MARK WOOD and Ben Stokes electrified Edgbaston with a brutal demonstration of Bazball.
The duo joined forces to deadly effect as England sealed a 3-0 series triumph over West Inides with a merciless assault. Fast bowler Wood (below) stepped up after with a ferocious spell of bowling that sucked the life out of the tourists. And then the skipper smashed Ian Botham's record for the fastest 50 struck by an Englishman in Tests as the hosts romped to a 10-wicket win.
It was the kind of cricket that Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum had demanded when they joined forces.
And while the sell-out crowd didn't see a full day's play, few will be asking for their money back following 100 minutes of savagery. It was unfiltered, joyous chaos of the kind that will put bums back on seats.
