WHEN Joanne Kiddell was diagnosed with a condition that could rob her of her sight, it was the wake-up call she needed to begin an amazing weight loss journey.
The "emotional eater" tipped the scales at 27st 9lb after years of gorging and her efforts to thin down had always failed.
But hearing that she may not get to see her two granddaughters grow up spurred her on to save her sight and her life.
And she is now proud to be Slimming World's Greatest Loser 2024 after shedding 16st 2½lb dropping to 11st 6½/2lb and from a size 32 dress to a size 10.
