THE feelgood factor just kept on flowing in the rain at the Tottenham Stadium last night.
From a long, hot summer of uncertainty before Harry Kane finally left, Ange Postecoglu's care-free side proudly sit two points clear at the top of the Premier League this morning after their best start to a season since their Double year of 1960-61.
Captain Heung-Min Son scored his seventh goal of the season while James Maddison netted his first of many at the Tottenham Stadium.
This was not a perfect performance and Spurs scored both goals by pressing hard and intercepting passes from Fulham's Calvin Bassey.
But the change in attitude and atmosphere under new Aussie coach Postecoglu (far right) was there to see and hear in vibrant north London.
"We are top of the league," echoed around the stadium before the end.
No Spurs fans could have predicted this start or can now say how long it will go on. But they should enjoy it while they can. From eighth place and incessant managerial rantings last season under Antone Conte, happy Spurs are still the only unbeaten team in the top flight along with Arsenal and the lack of European football this season could prove to be a bonus.
