Kate returns to hosting duties to greet Qatari ruler on his state visit
RUSSELL MYERS
Welcome back

THE Princess of Wales will take on her biggest public role since finishing her treatment for cancer when the King and Queen host a private lunch for the Emir of Qatar today.

Kate has taken on a gradual return to duties since she announced in September that she had completed chemotherapy after being diagnosed with an undisclosed form of the disease in February.

Speculation had mounted in recent weeks as to whether the princess, 42, would play a part in the Qatari royal family state visit this week.
