AN on-duty policeman was among three people fighting for their lives in hospital after a horror motorway smash.
Another officer was seriously injured when three cars collided, including a police car, on the M8 near to junction 13 at Provan, Glasgow, at around 1pm yesterday.
A Mercedes A45 collided with an unmarked Volvo S90 police car and a Mercedes CLS, which were on the hard shoulder of the eastbound carriageway.
