Nigel Brooks, manager of The Brucefield Farm restaurant in Livingston, supported 999 workers with grub and refreshments as they “ worked tirelessly to contain a massive fire at a nearby industrial estate.
For safety reasons, Nigel cancelled all 100 bookings after the fire broke out but he opened his doors to police and firefighters, who remained at the scene for hours.
