Tennis ace ordered to move pests from his hotel

HE IS still recovering from bombing out of Wimbledon and now Andy Murray has another battle on his hands.

The star has been ordered to find a new home for bats in the grounds of his luxury hotel before building work can go ahead.

Dad-of-four Andy is carrying out renovations at Cromlix hotel near his hometown of Dunblane after he and wife Kim took over the running of it from a management firm.

Surveys of a building in the grounds earmarked for refurbishment have found evidence of roosting soprano pipistrelle bats.

Bats are a protected species under UK law and it is illegal to kill, possess or handle them without a licence or to cause them harm or disturb their habitat in any way.
